The City of Lethbridge has a new Lethbridge Transit app available for both Android and iOS.
Users can download the app for easy access to real-time transit information. By creating an account, users can also now set up customized notifications.
This new feature allows residents to decide how they prefer to be notified including text, email or push notifications to a mobile device, City of Lethbridge officials said in a recent release. It also allows them to tailor this information based on the routes and specific bus stops they access most often.
These new notification options are available through both the app and the lethbridgetransit.ca website. Providing a mobile app was a request of the community that was heard during public engagement when developing the City’s Transit Master Plan, officials said.
